The Ice Show is coming!
Attention Learn to Skate Parents. Our year end Ice Show is on April 27th.
We are now taking registrations online. If you prefer a paper copy please obtain a copy from one of the coaches.
Please register your skater by February 28th.

The Georgina Skating Club’s Ice Show will take place on April 27, 2019 at the Georgina Ice Palace and we ask that all parents of skaters that will be participating to register their skater.
Registration via the hard copy available at the link below or via the online form as soon as possible is appreciated.
Winter Registration is Now OPEN!
Registration for the WINTER programs (classes begin January 2019) is now OPEN!!
In person registration will take place at the Georgina Ice Palace December 1st from 9-11am.

KIS 2018 is almost here!
KIS (Keswick Invitational Skate) is the Georgina Skating Club’s largest fundraiser of the year helping to keep skater registration fees low and with the cost of producing our annual ice show.
All StarSkate families are required to volunteer 8 hours of their mandatory 12 hours of volunteer time to the club at our annual KIS competition. Volunteering at KIS is a great opportunity for all parents to be a part of the success that GSC has had in hosting this competition for many years and see what goes into making a competition of this size run smoothly. We also encourage our CanSkate parents to volunteer as there are plenty of volunteer opportunities throughout the weekend.

This is also a perfect opportunity for high school students to sign up for required volunteer hours. Sign up at the link or send an email to volunteerwithgsc@gmail.com and providing your available times and we’ll make sure we have a position available.
Kurt Browning is coming to GSC!
Attention Star Skaters: Don’t forget to register for the Kurt Browning seminar on October 22nd.
The 4 hour session includes one hour on ice with Kurt Browning, one hour with a trainer for off ice training, one hour with a nutritionist learning about how to fuel your body for skating and a one hour Q&A with Kurt Browning.
You only have until tomorrow to register before we open the registration up to surrounding clubs.
You won’t want to miss this opportunity to skate with an amazing Canadian skater!
Special Olympics
Do you know someone that would qualify for our Special Olympics program and love to learn to skate or already know how to skate?
Our Special Olympics program begins on October 11.
