Winter Gala and Bake Sale

The Georgina Skating Club presents the Annual Winter Gala Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 8am-12pm and we hope you will join us.

Breakfast will be served from 8-11am
Starskate Hockey Games (parents can join in) 8:30-9:15am
Performances by our Starskate Programs and Syncro Teams 9:30am
Presentation to our Program Assistants
Join us for our Family Skate with Santa 10:30am-12pm (Please bring a non-perishable food item to help support families in Georgina)

And don’t forget our Annual Bake Sale that will help support one of our skating families during the Holiday Season.

As a reminder….Starskate forms for the Annual Ice Show are due Saturday.  If you haven’t handed them in please do so by Saturday.

Take note hockey players and parents!

In addition to the amazing and very successful Skate Canada / Patinage Canada CanSkate program, we also offer our own CANHockey program.

This program builds on the fundamental skills skaters have learned in CanSkate, but are focused and refined for those who are interested in or have already joined a hockey program!

Keswick Santa Claus Parade 2017

The BIG GUY is on his way and the Georgina Skating Club will be participating in the Keswick Santa Claus parade welcoming the BIG GUY to our community!

Important information for those participating in this Saturday’s Keswick Santa Claus Parade Georgina Skating Club float:

*Meet time is 1pm at Keswick High School or R.L. Graham P.S. on Biscayne Ave. (to be determined on Saturday when we receive our float number).
*Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather, wearing GSC clubwear if possible.
*The float will be pulled by a black Dodge Ram with the skating club logo on the doors.
*Attached is a map showing the parade route. Meeting places for after the parade will be one of the following-
Lakeside P.S., Keswick P.S., or on Church Street.
*Please be on time to pick your child up.
*We are happy to have parents walk with their children (if that makes them more comfortable or if they would just like to join in on the parade)
