The Georgina Skating Club offers Learn to Skate programs for all levels and ages. Our programs focus on balance, control and agility skills that will prepare skaters for any ice skating sport or recreational skating. Our curriculum and delivery methods are nationally-tested and promote skater success. We offer 90% movement so skaters learn in an active and fun group setting with nationally certified coaches to demonstrate proper technique of skating. Our coaches have the aid of trained Program Assistants and the delivery of our program promotes fun, fitness and participation. We will provide your skater with the best foundation for figure skating, hockey, speed skating or ringette. We would love to help introduce a healthy, lifelong activity to your child at an early age. Skate Ontario wants to offer the best skating programs in the country! That begins with assisting our Clubs/Skating School coaches to deliver programs that meet or exceed the National delivery standards. The three tiers of the CanSkate Excellence Recognition Club now include: Engaged, Achieved, Exceeded.
Georgina Skating Club is proud to have been award the Exceeded Standard award April 2024. We continue to strive to uphold this standard as we continue into future seasons.
